As part
of the life and ministry of the Conference, three primary emphases are
identified. These three emphases are:
1. Being a Church that Knows and Lives Its Faith
This
emphasis is Christian Education and discipleship. It also includes our long
tradition of concern for justice and service to others. To implement
this emphasis, three committees encourage laity and clergy to work together to
help local churches and members to know and live their faith. These committees
are to provide new opportunities for spiritual growth within the local churches
of the Conference. The three committees are:

2. Being an Evangelism Church
This
emphasis proclaims the Good News and calls members to be evangelists. In so
doing, we see the need to establish new churches & revitalize existing
churches. The two
committees that implement this emphasis are:

3. Being a Caring and Nurturing Community
This
emphasis serves the needs of persons within the church as well as seeks to care
for those who need support and love of the church within society. The three
committees responsible for implementing this emphasis are: Congregational &
